## Description

Arcsine of a number, result in [Degrees](../topics/Number.md#degrees).

## Syntax

```sqf
asin x
```

**Parameters:**

- `x`: [Number](../topics/Number.md) in range -1..+1 - any other value returns [NaN](../topics/NaN.md)

**Returns:** [Number](../topics/Number.md)

## Examples

### Example 1

```sqf
_degrees = asin 0.5; // Returns 30
```
