# composeText

## Description

Creates a [Structured Text](../topics/Structured_Text.md) by joining the given [structured](../topics/Structured_Text.md) or [plain](../topics/String.md) text arguments.

## Syntax

```sqf
composeText arguments
```

**Parameters:**

- `arguments`: [Array](../topics/Array.md) of [String](../topics/String.md) and/or [Structured Text](../topics/Structured_Text.md) - use [Structured Text](../topics/Structured_Text.md) where necessary (see [#Example 2](../commands/composeText.md#example-2))

**Returns:** [Structured Text](../topics/Structured_Text.md)

## Examples

### Example 1

```sqf
hint composeText ["Image: ", image "\a3\Data_f\Flags\flag_Altis_co.paa"];
```

### Example 2

```sqf
hint composeText ["line1", "<br/>", "line2"];        // result displayed in one line
hint composeText ["line1", lineBreak, "line2"];    // result displayed in two lines
