# ctrlShow

*Command · GUI Control · Arma 3 v0.50 · introduced in Operation Flashpoint v1.75*

## Description

Shows or hides a control, or group of controls together with all the controls inside that group of controls.

Read Arma: GUI Configuration for more information about user dialogs and controls.

> [!NOTE]
> Using [ctrlShow](../commands/ctrlShow.md) on a controls group will show or hide all controls within the controls group (including controls that are placed in nested controls groups).

## Syntax

### Syntax 1

```sqf
ctrlShow [idc, show]
```

**Parameters:**

- `idc`: [Number](../topics/Number.md) - control IDC
- `show`: [Boolean](../topics/Boolean.md) - [true](../commands/true.md) to show the control, [false](../commands/false.md) to hide it

**Returns:** [Nothing](../topics/Nothing.md)

### Syntax 2

```sqf
control ctrlShow show
```

**Parameters:**

- `show`: [Boolean](../topics/Boolean.md) - [true](../commands/true.md) to show the control, [false](../commands/false.md) to hide it
