# getCenterOfMass

## Description

Returns center of mass of an object.

## Syntax

```sqf
getCenterOfMass object
```

**Parameters:**

- `object`: [Object](../topics/Object.md) - PhysX object

**Returns:** [PositionRelative](../topics/Position.md#positionrelative) - relative to the model centre

## Examples

### Example 1

```sqf
_com = getCenterOfMass _myCar;
```
