# getRotorBrakeRTD

*Command · RTD · Arma 3 v1.34 · introduced in Take On Helicopters v1.00*

## Description

Returns if rotor break is on.

> [!NOTE]
> **afm:** For this command to have any effect, the Advanced Flight Model (AFM) has to be enabled. AFM status can be checked with [difficultyEnabledRTD](../commands/difficultyEnabledRTD.md).

## Syntax

```sqf
getRotorBrakeRTD helicopter
```

**Parameters:**

**Returns:** [Boolean](../topics/Boolean.md) - [true](../commands/true.md) if on, otherwise [false](../commands/false.md)
