# hideSelection

## Description

Hides or shows the [simple object](../commands/createSimpleObject.md)'s provided selection.

## Syntax

```sqf
object hideSelection [selection, hidden]
```

**Parameters:**

- `object`: [Object](../topics/Object.md) - simple object
- `selection`: [String](../topics/String.md) - selection name
- `hidden`: [Boolean](../topics/Boolean.md) - [true](../commands/true.md) to hide, [false](../commands/false.md) to show

**Returns:** [Nothing](../topics/Nothing.md)
