# setSimpleTaskCustomData

*Command · Briefing · Arma 3 v1.58*

## Description

Set custom data for the task. Tooltip will be drawn in task list on the right side. Description will be drawn in task description panel on the bottom.

## Syntax

```sqf
task setSimpleTaskCustomData [iconPath, tooltip, description]
```

**Parameters:**

- `task`: [Task](../topics/Task.md) - task the custom data are being added to
- `iconPath`: [String](../topics/String.md) - icon path
- `tooltip`: [String](../topics/String.md) - text displayed next to the icon; max. 3 charactersc
- `description`: [String](../topics/String.md) - text displayed on the task description panel; html format

**Returns:** [Nothing](../topics/Nothing.md)
