# setSimpleTaskType

## Description

Attach type to the simple task. See Default Task Types.

## Syntax

```sqf
task setSimpleTaskType taskType
```

**Parameters:**

- `task`: [Task](../topics/Task.md)
- `taskType`: [String](../topics/String.md) - type of task

**Returns:** [Nothing](../topics/Nothing.md)
