# setTIParameter

*Command · Environment · Arma 3 v2.10*

## Description

Sets the provided Thermal Imaging parameter's value.

> [!IMPORTANT]
> The settings are **not** saved in savegame and must be reapplied after loading.

## Syntax

```sqf
setTIParameter [paramName, newValue]
```

**Parameters:**

- `paramName`: [String](../topics/String.md) - the parameter name. See [getTIParameters](../commands/getTIParameters.md) for a list of possible values
- `newValue`: [Number](../topics/Number.md) - the set number

**Returns:** [Nothing](../topics/Nothing.md)

## Examples

### Example 1

```sqf
setTIParameter ["OutputRangeStart", 0];
setTIParameter ["OutputRangeWidth", 1];
```
