# showPad

*Command · Interaction · Arma 3 v0.50 · introduced in Operation Flashpoint v1.00*

## Description

Shows or hides the notebook on the map screen, if enabled for the mission. (default [true](../commands/true.md)). It is no longer relevant to Arma 2.

## Syntax

```sqf
showPad show
```

**Parameters:**

- `show`: [Boolean](../topics/Boolean.md)

**Returns:** [Nothing](../topics/Nothing.md)
