# Config (scripting commands)

- [a / b](../../commands/a_~2F_b.md): Returns the quotient of two numbers. If the divisor is 0 a *Division by zero* error is shown but the script does not stop and the result of such division is assumed to be 0.
- [campaignConfigFile](../../commands/campaignConfigFile.md): Returns root of campaign description.ext entries hierarchy.
- [config greater greater name](../../commands/config_greater_greater_name.md): Returns config entry with given name (alias of a / b, slightly faster but with lower precedence)
- [configClasses](../../commands/configClasses.md): Returns an array of config entries which meet criteria in condition code. Command iterates through all available config sub classes of the given config class.
- [configFile](../../commands/configFile.md): Return root of config entries hierarchy.
- [configHierarchy](../../commands/configHierarchy.md): Returns hierarchy of the given config class. Just like with inheritsFrom, only complete config classes are supported (before Arma 3 v2.14).
- [configName](../../commands/configName.md): Returns name of config entry.
- [configNull](../../commands/configNull.md): A non-existing Config.
- [configOf](../../commands/configOf.md): Returns config path of the provided object.
- [configProperties](../../commands/configProperties.md): Returns an array of config entries that meet the criteria in the condition code. The command iterates through available classes and config properties for given config entry.
- [configSourceAddonList](../../commands/configSourceAddonList.md): Returns an array of addons (CfgPatches) in which the given config class is defined.
- [count](../../commands/count.md): Can be used to count: - The number of elements in an array (returns the already internally known array size) - The number of elements in an array matching the condition - The number of sub-entries in a config entry -…
- [diag_exportConfig](../../commands/diag_exportConfig.md): Exports given config into file of given path.
- [diag_mergeConfigFile](../../commands/diag_mergeConfigFile.md): Updates config without restarting. Attributes and classes can not be deleted unless `delete` is used. Changes to the config are applied to all new entities, a mission restart is not necessarily required.
- [getArray](../../commands/getArray.md): Extract array from config entry.
- [getMissionConfig](../../commands/getMissionConfig.md): Returns Config entry for the given scenario attribute from the 1st tier. The attribute can be config class or config property. If it is defined in multiple places, the command checks them in the following order: 1.
- [getMissionConfigValue](../../commands/getMissionConfigValue.md): Returns value of the given scenario attribute from the 1st tier. Since only config properties have values, the attribute should be config property. If it is not found or config class is given, the return is nil.
- [getNumber](../../commands/getNumber.md): Extract number from config entry.
- [getText](../../commands/getText.md): Extracts localized text from config entry, if entry is subject to localization, otherwise returns text value. To obtain the translation key itself, see getTextRaw.
- [getTextRaw](../../commands/getTextRaw.md): Returns raw text from config entry. If entry is subject to localization, the translation key is returned. To obtain the localized text, see getText.
- [inheritsFrom](../../commands/inheritsFrom.md): Returns base entry of config entry.
- [isArray](../../commands/isArray.md): Check if config entry represents array.
- [isClass](../../commands/isClass.md): Check if config entry represents config class.
- [isNumber](../../commands/isNumber.md): Check if config entry represents number.
- [isText](../../commands/isText.md): Checks if config entry represents a text value.
- [loadConfig](../../commands/loadConfig.md): Loads the given file as a Config, allowing easy processing of the config file contents using commands such as configClasses, configProperties, >>, etc.
- [missionConfigFile](../../commands/missionConfigFile.md): Return root of mission Description.ext entries hierarchy.
- [select](../../commands/select.md): Selects an element from an array, config entry from Config or substring from a string or a range from an array.
