# GUI Control - Positioning (scripting commands)

- [ctrlAngle](../../commands/ctrlAngle.md): Gets rotation info of a control set as `ST_PICTURE`. Supported control types: - CT_STATIC - Arma 3 v2.10 CT_ACTIVETEXT
- [ctrlModelScale](../../commands/ctrlModelScale.md): Returns 3D control model scale.
- [ctrlMousePosition](../../commands/ctrlMousePosition.md): Returns position of the mouse on the screen relative to UI Control in UI coordinates. Also works within CT_CONTROLS_GROUPs. In that case, returned position is relative to the position of the group.
- [ctrlPosition](../../commands/ctrlPosition.md): Returns the current position of 2D control as `[x, y, w, h]` array. For 3D control it returns relative `[x, z, y]`.
- [ctrlScale](../../commands/ctrlScale.md): Returns the current scale of the control.
- [ctrlSetModelScale](../../commands/ctrlSetModelScale.md): Sets 3D control model scale
- [ctrlSetMousePosition](../../commands/ctrlSetMousePosition.md): Similar to setMousePosition but relative to the given control.
- [ctrlSetPixelPrecision](../../commands/ctrlSetPixelPrecision.md): Switches mode of pixel precision (rounding) in a given control interface.
- [ctrlSetPosition](../../commands/ctrlSetPosition.md): Sets wanted position and size for 2D control animation. Width and height are optional. ctrlCommit is required to complete the operation.
- [ctrlSetPositionH](../../commands/ctrlSetPositionH.md): Sets the height of a 2D control. ctrlCommit is required to complete the operation.
- [ctrlSetPositionW](../../commands/ctrlSetPositionW.md): Sets the width of a 2D control. ctrlCommit is required to complete the operation.
- [ctrlSetPositionX](../../commands/ctrlSetPositionX.md): Sets horizontal position (x) of the 2D control. ctrlCommit is required to complete the operation.
- [ctrlSetPositionY](../../commands/ctrlSetPositionY.md): Sets vertical position (y) of a 2D control. ctrlCommit is required to complete the operation.
- [ctrlSetScale](../../commands/ctrlSetScale.md): Sets scale of a control. Top left corner remains same. This command requires ctrlCommit.
- [getMousePosition](../../commands/getMousePosition.md): Returns mouse position in UI coordinates.
- [getResolution](../../commands/getResolution.md): Returns an array containing all information about current client screen resolution.
- [pixelGrid](../../commands/pixelGrid.md): Returns grid size based on screen resolution, UI size and configs: uiScaleFactor, uiScaleMaxGrids.
- [pixelGridBase](../../commands/pixelGridBase.md): Returns grid size based on screen resolution.
- [pixelGridNoUIScale](../../commands/pixelGridNoUIScale.md): Returns grid size based on screen resolution and configs: `uiScaleFactor`, `uiScaleMaxGrids`. As mentioned in the name of this command, the user interface scale is ignored.
- [pixelH](../../commands/pixelH.md): Returns the height of one pixel for current resolution.
- [pixelW](../../commands/pixelW.md): Returns width of one pixel for current resolution.
- [safeZoneH](../../commands/safeZoneH.md): Returns the height of the screen in screen measurement units. Taken from top left corner of the default viewport (0,0) of the screen and going in the same direction as the Y axis, the value will be positive but…
- [safeZoneW](../../commands/safeZoneW.md): Returns the width of the screen in screen measurement units. Taken from top left corner of the default viewport (0,0) of the screen and going in the same direction as the X axis, the value will be positive but resulting…
- [safeZoneWAbs](../../commands/safeZoneWAbs.md): Returns absolute safeZoneW including all monitors.
- [safeZoneX](../../commands/safeZoneX.md): Returns the X of the left border of the screen, which is also a distance in screen measurement units from top left corner of the default viewport (0,0) of the screen to the left border of the screen.
- [safeZoneXAbs](../../commands/safeZoneXAbs.md): Returns absolute safeZoneX including all monitors.
- [safeZoneY](../../commands/safeZoneY.md): Returns the Y of the top border of the screen, which is also a distance in screen measurement units from top left corner of the default viewport (0,0) of the screen to the top border of the screen.
- [setMousePosition](../../commands/setMousePosition.md): Moves mouse pointer to specified position on the screen. x and y could be any number, but will be clipped so mouse never leaves the screen area.
