# Math (scripting commands)

- [! a](../../commands/~21_a.md): Returns the negation of a Boolean expression. This means `true` becomes `false` and vice versa.
- [+](../../commands/~2B.md): Add two Numbers, concatenate two Arrays or two Strings, or create a copy of an Array or HashMap.
- [-](../../commands/-.md): Subtracts numbers or arrays from each another, negates a number. For arrays also see deleteAt and deleteRange.
- [a != b](../../commands/a_~21~3D_b.md): Returns whether one value is not equal to another. String comparison is case-insensitive (e.g `"STRINGtext" != "stringTEXT" // returns false - strings are equivalent`).
- [a % b](../../commands/a_~25_b.md): Remainder of *a* divided by *b*.
- [a && b](../../commands/a_~26~26_b.md): Returns true only if both conditions are true. In case of the alternative syntax, lazy evaluation is used - if left operand is false, evaluation of the right side is ignored.
- [a * b](../../commands/a_~2A_b.md): Returns the value of *a* multiplied by *b*.
- [a / b](../../commands/a_~2F_b.md): Returns the quotient of two numbers. If the divisor is 0 a *Division by zero* error is shown but the script does not stop and the result of such division is assumed to be 0.
- [a == b](../../commands/a_~3D~3D_b.md): Check if *a* is equal to *b*. String comparison is case-insensitive - use isEqualTo if case sensitivity is needed.
- [a ^ b](../../commands/a_~5E_b.md): *a* raised to the power of *b*
- [a greater b](../../commands/a_greater_b.md): Returns true if a is greater than b, else returns false.
- [a greater= b](../../commands/a_greater~3D_b.md): Returns if *a* is greater than or equal to *b*.
- [a less b](../../commands/a_less_b.md): Returns if *a* is lesser than *b*.
- [a less= b](../../commands/a_less~3D_b.md): Returns true if a is less than or equal to b, else returns false.
- [a or b](../../commands/a_or_b.md): Returns true if one or both conditions are true. In case of the alternative syntax, lazy evaluation is used. That means that if left operand is true, evaluation of the right side is skipped completely.
- [abs](../../commands/abs.md): Returns absolute (positive) value of a real number.
- [and](../../commands/and.md): Returns true only if both conditions are true. In case of the alternative syntax, lazy evaluation is used - if left operand is false, evaluation of the right side is ignored.
- [bezierInterpolation](../../commands/bezierInterpolation.md): Gets interpolated value based on Bézier curve with given control points (progress value is 0...1 for a curve that starts at pos0 and finishes at posN)
- [ceil](../../commands/ceil.md): The ceil value of x.
- [decayGraphValues](../../commands/decayGraphValues.md): Multiplies graph values by the given coefficient. The corresponding lower bound value is used instead if the product is smaller than the bound.
- [exp](../../commands/exp.md): Exponential function with the base e). Equal to `e^x`.
- [false](../../commands/false.md): Always false.
- [finite](../../commands/finite.md): Returns true if the provided number is finite (not infinite and a valid number).
- [floor](../../commands/floor.md): Returns the next lowest integer in relation to the provided number.
- [getGraphValues](../../commands/getGraphValues.md): Generate graph y - coordinates of all input values within specific x and y range.
- [linearConversion](../../commands/linearConversion.md): Converts given value from given "from" range to wanted "to" range. If clipping is set to true, the resulting value is guaranteed to be within "to" range no matter what.
- [ln](../../commands/ln.md): Returns the natural logarithm of x.
- [log](../../commands/log.md): Base-10 logarithm of x.
- [matrixMultiply](../../commands/matrixMultiply.md): Returns resulting matrix from the multiplication of two matrices. First matrix must be of the size n × k, while the second must be of the size k × m, i.e `columns` matrix1 == `rows` matrix2.
- [matrixTranspose](../../commands/matrixTranspose.md): Returns transposed version of the given matrix. The matrix is an Array of rows. Each row is an Array of corresponding column values for the row. The minimum number of rows is 1.
- [max](../../commands/max.md): The greater value of a and b.
- [min](../../commands/min.md): The smaller of a and b.
- [mod](../../commands/mod.md): Remainder of a divided by b.
- [not](../../commands/not.md): not a is exactly the same as ! a.
- [or](../../commands/or.md): Returns true if one or both conditions are true. In case of the alternative syntax, lazy evaluation is used. That means that if left operand is true, evaluation of the right side is skipped completely.
- [random](../../commands/random.md): | | | |---|---| | | |
- [round](../../commands/round.md): Rounds the provided value to the closest integer.
- [sqrt](../../commands/sqrt.md): Returns square root of x.
- [toFixed](../../commands/toFixed.md): Converts a number into a string, keeping the specified number of decimals. If the desired number of decimals is higher than the actual number, nulls are added to create the desired decimal length.
- [true](../../commands/true.md): Always true
