# Arrays (functions)

- [BIS_fnc_addToPairs](../../functions/BIS_fnc_addToPairs.md): Adds given value to pair array, stored under unique key.
- [BIS_fnc_arrayCompare](../../functions/BIS_fnc_arrayCompare.md) **[deprecated]**: This function checks if two arrays are containing the same elements in the same order.
- [BIS_fnc_arrayFindDeep](../../functions/BIS_fnc_arrayFindDeep.md): Searches an array for a specific value and returns its index.
- [BIS_fnc_arrayInsert](../../functions/BIS_fnc_arrayInsert.md): Inserts the elements of one array into another, at a specified index. Neither arrays are touched by reference, a new array is returned.
- [BIS_fnc_arrayPop](../../functions/BIS_fnc_arrayPop.md): This function removes the last (rightmost) element of an array and returns it.
- [BIS_fnc_arrayPush](../../functions/BIS_fnc_arrayPush.md): This function adds an element to the end of an array and returns the array.
- [BIS_fnc_arrayPushStack](../../functions/BIS_fnc_arrayPushStack.md): This function is similar to the array push function; however, it pushes the contents of an array onto the stack array.
- [BIS_fnc_arrayShift](../../functions/BIS_fnc_arrayShift.md): This function removes the first (leftmost) element of an array and returns it.
- [BIS_fnc_arrayShuffle](../../functions/BIS_fnc_arrayShuffle.md): Return a new array with randomized order of elements from input array.
- [BIS_fnc_arrayUnShift](../../functions/BIS_fnc_arrayUnShift.md): This function adds an element to the beginning of an array and returns the array. The array is passed by reference so changes inside the function will be reflected outside of it.
- [BIS_fnc_colorConfigToRGBA](../../functions/BIS_fnc_colorConfigToRGBA.md): Converts config color format to RGBA array of numbers.
- [BIS_fnc_colorRGBAtoHTML](../../functions/BIS_fnc_colorRGBAtoHTML.md): Converts RGBA color format to #AARRGGBB HTML color format.

- [BIS_fnc_findInPairs](../../functions/BIS_fnc_findInPairs.md): Searches the associative array for the first occurance of the key string and returns its index. Seach is not case-sensitive.
- [BIS_fnc_findNestedElement](../../functions/BIS_fnc_findNestedElement.md): Function to find item in nested arrays and return a path to the first match.
- [BIS_fnc_getFromPairs](../../functions/BIS_fnc_getFromPairs.md): Searches the associative array for the 1st occurance of the key string and returns the value associated with it. Search is not case sensitiv.

- [BIS_fnc_lowestNum](../../functions/BIS_fnc_lowestNum.md): Returns the lowest number out of the passed set.

- [BIS_fnc_paramIn](../../functions/BIS_fnc_paramIn.md): See BIS_fnc_param. Overloading default values is disabled in this variant. It's intended to be used where _this is not used as an input param.
- [BIS_fnc_parseNumberSafe](../../functions/BIS_fnc_parseNumberSafe.md): Converts expression into a number. Can also convert array of expressions into an array of numbers. If expression does not return a number, 0 is returned.
- [BIS_fnc_randomIndex](../../functions/BIS_fnc_randomIndex.md): Return a random integer representing an index in the passed array.
- [BIS_fnc_removeFromPairs](../../functions/BIS_fnc_removeFromPairs.md): Removes an item from pair array, modifying or not the original array.
- [BIS_fnc_removeIndex](../../functions/BIS_fnc_removeIndex.md): Takes an array, and returns a new array with the specified index(es) removed. This takes the array passed in the first parameter, and returns an array that has the index number in the second parameter removed.

- [BIS_fnc_returnNestedElement](../../functions/BIS_fnc_returnNestedElement.md): Function to return an item at a path in an array.
- [BIS_fnc_selectRandom](../../functions/BIS_fnc_selectRandom.md): Selects one of the arguments at random.
- [BIS_fnc_selectRandomWeighted](../../functions/BIS_fnc_selectRandomWeighted.md): Selects a random item from an array, taking into account item weight.
- [BIS_fnc_setNestedElement](../../functions/BIS_fnc_setNestedElement.md): Function to set an item in a nested array using a path. Modifies the array by reference.
- [BIS_fnc_setToPairs](../../functions/BIS_fnc_setToPairs.md): Works similar to the BIS_fnc_addToPairs but it doesn't try to add values. It just overwrites the volue if the key already exists.
- [BIS_fnc_sortAlphabetically](../../functions/BIS_fnc_sortAlphabetically.md): Alphabetically sort an array of strings without modifying the original. See also sort.
- [BIS_fnc_sortBy](../../functions/BIS_fnc_sortBy.md): Sorts an array according to given algorithm. See sort for simple sorts.
- [BIS_fnc_sortNum](../../functions/BIS_fnc_sortNum.md): Sorts an array of numbers from lowest (left) to highest (right). The passed array is modified by reference. This function uses the quick sort algorithm.
